Camperships

At Camp Allen NH, we believe everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of camp, regardless of financial circumstances. If cost is holding you back, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to help guide you through the Harry Allen Gregg Foundation grant process (for New Hampshire residents) and offer support through our Ami Goodwin Campership program, open to all campers.

THE HARRY ALLEN GREGG FOUNDATION

Over 30 years ago the Harry Allen Gregg Foundation was established to provide support grants to help the people of New Hampshire with disabilities and their families cover the cost of needed products and services. As one of the few charitable foundations to provide funds directly to individuals, the Harry Allen Gregg Foundation has made over 8,000 grants totaling more than $3 million. Opportunities for grant support include home modifications, educational services, adaptive equipment, therapeutic recreation, medical bills and technology.

AMI GOODWIN CAMPERSHIP PROGRAM

Ami Goodwin was a bright light at Camp Allen New Hampshire. Her joyful spirit and adventurous energy left a lasting impression on everyone she met. You could often spot her zipping across camp in her wheelchair, her counselor playfully racing to keep up. But it was Ami’s quiet acts of kindness that truly defined her. At the end of each session, she would discreetly leave behind any money she had left from the camp store, asking that it be used for a camper who didn’t have any.

To honor Ami’s legacy of compassion and generosity, Camp Allen NH created Ami Goodwin’s Campership Program. This special fund helps ensure that every camper, regardless of financial circumstance, has the chance to experience the joy, friendship and personal growth that camp offers.

If you would like to help carry on Ami’s legacy and provide a life-changing experience for an individual in need, donations to Ami Goodwin’s Campership Program can be made here.
