Tom lavery

My name is Tom Lavery, CRPC, APMA and I’m an associate financial advisor with Paul A. Pouliot & Associates, a private wealth firm of Ameriprise Financial. I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years and I have a community-based approach. I partner with clients who have similar values which helps create relationships, not just transactions.  I’m active in my community serving as President of Hooksett Kiwanis, Vice President of NH Jump$tart Coalition as well as being a past board member of the Hooksett Chamber of Commerce and Academy of Finance. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Marissa Lavery and we have a dachshund named Hurley who gets all of our love and attention.

Camp Allen is special to me because the mission is something that can’t be ignored: helping those in our community with developmental and/or physical challenges find a place where they can grow, find friendship and new opportunities in a safe environment.  The relationships that are formed between board members, leadership, staff and campers are friendships that last a lifetime and teach me something new every day.

Barb joined the Camp Allen Board of Directors in 2019 and has served as Secretary for the past 2 years.

Retired from commercial construction, I have been a member of the Board of Directors for 14 years. An active member on the building committee, I am part of a team dedicated to trying to continue to improve our facilities to enhance our campers experience. It is always rewarding being a part of the Camp Allen operations.

Jon Snow

Jon Snow is a lifelong resident of Bedford who has spent the last three decades in service to others in various roles.  He served as a career Firefighter/Paramedic, paramedic program Director and Assistant Deputy Medical Examiner for the State of NH.  After retiring from the fire service full time his career path changed and he now works in the private sector as a financial strategist for the World Financial Group, and as an Account Manager with Ascend Learning.  During his free time you can catch him on a relaxing beach or on a mountain snowboarding.  For many years Jon has provided the medical training for the camp staff to ensure the safety of staff and campers during their time at camp.

Stacey Grant

Stacey Grant is a Senior Program Director managing all aspects of LISC’s AmeriCorps program, from ensuring high-quality member service assignments and partner selection to managing LISC’s relationship with the AmeriCorps Agency and other major funders. Stacey got hooked on LISC’s vision and mission in 1996 as an administrative assistant with the LISC Greater Newark office, where she discovered she had a passion for helping residents launch careers in community development through service with AmeriCorps. From Newark, Stacey moved to LISC headquarters to serve as a program officer and, ultimately, director for the AmeriCorps program. LISC is a not-for-profit organization that works with neighbors and partners to forge resilient and inclusive communities of opportunity across America- great places to live, work, visit, do business and raise families. Since 1980, LISC has raised more than $20 billion to build or rehab more than 376,000 affordable homes nationwide to help people, and the communities they live in, thrive.  Stacey holds a BA from the College of St. Rose in English and Secondary Education along with an MBA in marketing from Rutgers, The State University of NJ.

Nancy Ross

Nancy Ross is a Massachusetts native who received her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Master’s degree in Special Needs.  She served school-aged children in public school settings of greater Boston, and moved to SW Florida with her husband, Burt, in 1987, where she continued to serve students with special needs in the public school system of Collier County.  Their amazing son, Jake, was born a year later, and was diagnosed with Fragile X Syndrome.

Nancy continued to support the special needs of Collier County’s students, first as a classroom teacher, and then as a school-based administrator.  She retired from the Florida education system in 2014, but continued to serve its special needs population as an education consultant to STARability Foundation, the adult special needs day program that serves greater Collier County, FL.  Her responsibilities included staff training, virtual platform curriculum design, and development of a progress-monitoring system to track participant growth.  She proudly founded the preschool at Temple Shalom of Naples, FL, and served on the founding board of the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples.  Nancy joined the Camp Allen board in 2023.

Nancy and Burt have finally moved “home” to Boston!  Jake, is a dedicated participant in Camp Allen’s Life Camp and Campower programs, and is counting the days until its summer 0f 2025 programs begin!

Tom Aites

Retired from a 48 year career in Commercial Banking in Massachusetts where I spent the last 20 years specializing in the financing of Healthcare and not-for-profit organizations throughout New England.

Since graduating from Dartmouth College in 1975 with a degree in psychology I’ve had an affinity for being involved with organizations that help individuals with various levels of physical and intellectual challenges.

Upon joining the Kiwanis Club of Boston in 1978 the members introduced me to the good works of Camp Alen, the club’s major charitable project in partnership with the Manchester NH Lions Club. I’ve been associated with the Camp ever since.

I’ve been on the Board of Camp Allen for over 40 years. In that time, I served as President for several years in the 1990’s and past and current Treasurer for more than twenty of those years.
