Camp Allen NH Welcomes New Camp Director and Program Manager

Camp Allen NH, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing enriching summer camp experiences for individuals with developmental and/or physical challenges, is excited to announce the addition of two key team members Heather St. Onge as Camp Director and Emily DiRusso as Program Manager.

St. Onge joins Camp Allen NH with experience in advocacy and family support. With a background in navigating complex systems and connecting families to essential resources, St. Onge spent the past several years ensuring that individuals receive the care and assistance needed. As Camp Director, St. Onge will oversee all aspects of Camp Allen NH’s operations ensuring a high-quality experience for campers, caregivers, families and staff.

“I am thrilled to join Camp Allen and be part of the mission and the unforgettable experiences we look forward to providing to all the campers and their families,” stated St. Onge.

DiRusso joins Camp Allen NH with extensive experience in working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her passion for the field began in high school and was further solidified during her college years, where she served as a Resident Assistant (RA) for students with disabilities. DiRusso has spent five summers at Camp Allen NH, contributing to her deep connection to the organization. As Program Manager, DiRusso will lead the organization's staff hiring processes, training of staff as well as designing and expanding the quality recreational programming that our campers and families have come to expect from Camp Allen NH.

“I am delighted to be coming back to Camp Allen to further its mission to provide opportunities for growth, friendship, and fun for individuals with complex needs, “ said DiRusso. “I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm and positive energy, and creating programming to exceed our campers’ needs.”
